Buffet

Meldon Buffet Coach has now re-opened serving hot and cold drinks and light refreshments, it has a viewing deck providing great views over Meldon viaduct and Dartmoor. Okehampton station buffet continues to serve the full range of refreshments shown below. Tel. 01837 55667.

Opening Times

Meldon Buffet open Saturday and Sunday from 1100 to 1600 until 30th October ONLY

Okehampton - Okehampton Buffet open Friday from 1000 until 1600; Saturday and Sunday from 0900 until 1700

Main Line: Large size cooked breakfast
Green Line: Vegetarian cooked breakfast
Branch line: Medium size cooked breakfast
Also available: Filled Rolls, Toast and preserves

Lunches and Light snacks available all day:

The buffet serves a range of hot and cold light snacks, Lunches and an All Day Breakfast.
Home-made cakes and Cream teas are also available.
Beverages Hot and cold drinks available all day.

Childrens Menu
Any meal from the menu can be served in a smaller sized portion suitable for younger children.

All food and drink is subject to availability. Wherever possible ingredients and produce is locally sourced.

Okehampton station has plenty of parking spaces and is on Route 27 of the National Cycle Network.

Volunteers
The Buffet is staffed by volunteers with profits going to support the Railway. Anyone wishing to volunteer to help out should contact the buffet manager, Mary Trant, Tel. 01837 55667. Membership of the Dartmoor Railway Supporters Association is a requirement for those wishing to volunteer.
